The hotel is still new, there is even construction in several corners.
I booked a suite, the view is good, we can see the mountain and river. But it was rather disturbed because there was construction under the hotel.
The suite room is quite spacious, there is a sofa.
The ticket agent says the hotel has a swimming pool, even in the elevator there is sign swimming pool. In fact the swimming pool is still under construction, so sad.
Breakfast in my opinion is below the standard of a 4-star hotel. Very ordinary taste.
Car parking is limited, but they provide free valet parking. Hotel staff are friendly .
Overall this hotel is a pretty good in Wonosobo, it's a pity because the construction is still not 100% complete.
I suggest to book suite room, because the view is very good.

The hotel location is very good, at the main road from Dieng to Wonosobo with view river side. Several part of the hotel still under construction, like swimming pool, restaurant. But the room was great and cozy, with good layout and view. But in the bathroom need place to put soap. The food standard at temporary restaurant. Overall happy to stay at this hotel with reasonable price.

This is a new hotel in Wonosobo, they just opened it 2 months a go. Property looks stylish and quite clean... i like the room color and design.
Most of the staff were nice and helpful.

But......

Some areas are still under contruction, including the basement parking lot. So at this moment it was very difficult to park your car since they only have the small parking area in front of the hotel. But their security was quite helpful to park our car, just give them the car’s key.
And sometimes you can hear the noise of the workers hammering something at day time.

SMELLY ODOR from the bathroom drain spreading into the whole room... FIX IT please..!!

Shower pressure need to be improved

Breakffast quality could be better... fix the taste.!

How can the cleaning service mopping the corridor at 00:00 AM??? It was waking me up since his mop banging to the door..!

Probably will come back once they finished their construction and fix some issues above....

Visit Wonosobo for business purpose and look at online travel agent for accommodation and found this hotel. Its a newly hotel in town, check in smoothly, warm and polite, they assist to the room and explain the area since the hotel some floor still under progress construction. Spacious room and smell new :), comfortable bed and I have a great time for 2 nights stay.
Breakfast food variance quite enough and fits for me. I think this hotel will definitely best hotel in town when all construction are done.

I decided to stay in this particular hotel last minute last month (during 1st week of July). I made my decision to stay in this hotel 10 days prior to my arrival. I made my reservation in Agoda first but I later made up my mind and switched the reservation directly through Dafam/s central reservation. After having back and forth communication by WA and email, I finally confirmed my stay (2 rooms for one night).

After spending time in Dieng Plateau's area earlier that morning, we arrived in the hotel exhausted and slightly sleepy after being awake the night before. We were all shocked when we arrived in the hotel. Our jaws dropped and we couldn't believe what we just saw : The hotel was not even finished yet, nothing came close to what we had expected. The hotel was in complete mess - I did believe the contractor just finished no more than 60% of their progress. From what I had heard later, the hotel was being scheduled to complete in another 6 months (if no more delay). OMG !

There were several workers installed andesite stones in the parking area in front of the hotel's lobby and every where in the hotel. I was told that they plan to complete the stone installation by 6:00 pm later that evening so that we could park our car over there. Our car couldn't even accessed the hotel. We had to park off the street since there was no access to the hotel at all.

The hotel successfully surprised me more when I walked to the lobby : There was NOTHING in the lobby area. Basically, there was a small table with a computer unit to assist all hotel guests with check-in. Beside the table, there were 2 chairs for guests to sit in. There were 2 more chairs distance away from the table to sit for other guests. Aside from those furniture, I didn't find any other furniture (No sofa, no table & no frames on the wall) : Yes, there was NOTHING in the lobby.

Check-in was very slow. There was a couple checked-in when I got there. I had to wait for approx. 10 minutes before the female receptionist started processing my check-in. Check-in was very slow (it took approx. 10 minutes to complete). When I reached the lobby area, I could see some workers were painting the walls and I could see the workers had not even finished working on the lobby's ceiling (YES I could see the exposed concrete ceiling from where I sat).

Once I got our room keys (rooms 308 and 309), we entered the rooms. The room condition actually saved our holiday this time. Without it, I would definitely check-out immediately from this particular hotel. The room design was nice and it seemed a little bit bigger than the average 3 stars' hotel. During our stay, we could constantly hear hammering noises from the workers who did their job. This excessive noise ended later that afternoon (I didn't watch the clock as I was still asleep).

Breakfast the next morning was a complete disaster : Food quality was rubbish, sorry to say, as nothing was edible. There were 6 of us and we shared the same opinion on the food quality they were serving during breakfast. Breakfast spread was limited so we ended up leaving a huge portion of our meals untouched. To make it worse, the table sheets they were using to cover up all tables were all stained. They look very dirty than doormats we found in public toilets.

I still remembered hearing a comment made by one of the managers saying that the hotel offered good rates since the hotel was still newly operated. To be honest. I have travelled around the world for more than 30 years, staying in different hotels and I had never seen anything like this EVER in my life. I was informed that this hotel was not 100% finished but I didn't even think what her words meant until we reached this particular hotel. In my honest opinion, morally the hotel's owner and Dafam Hotel's management were not supposed to operate this hotel in such condition in the first place.

I still remembered I was staying in Novotel Bali Ngurah Rai Airport within 2 months after they started the hotel's operation 3~4 years ago. Of course, we could see few things had not been done during our stay but they were nothing compare to what we found in this hotel. On the plus side, this hotel supposes to be a nice hotel property once they are in full operation (100% completed) but I have a big doubt and not sure how good Dafam Hotel can manage this hotel property.

A note on our room : Room 309 certainly offered much better view (it has valley's view) but again, the construction progress behind the hotel ruined everything. We could also see some of the workers saw us while we were sitting facing the valley. We found they didn't equip the same lighting in our room (308) the same as they did in room 209.

Will I return back to this hotel ? Not a chance until they finish everything which may take time until Q1 next year. Until then, I won't even consider of staying in this hotel again even they offer a deep discount as it is not worth the money at all. In this case, such decision to operate the hotel certainly damages the hotel's reputation and we are sure we are not the only hotel guests who got so disappointed.
