Points of Interest

1. Trailhead

Marston Trail near Slide Dam Picnic area. Start here and head up the trail to the east.

2. Head Climbers Left

Keep heading up the Marston Trail to the left.

3. North or South?

I chose to do North Brother first so headed climbers left before returning through this junction again to get South Brother. As you can see from the photo the trail can be a bit eroded here as well.

4. North Brother Summit

Great views of Katahdin from this bald summit.

5. South Brother Summit

More great views of Katahdin and back to North Brother's rocky summit. When you return back to the Mt. Coe trail from the summit you have the option to head left and make a loop hike out of it by heading south to Mt. Coe too. This would be a nice loop if you had time.
