alaypath's City Tips

  • Phoenix has warm year-round temperatures and lots of sunshine. It's a great place to beat the winter blues with some pool time or a round of golf.
  • Sizzling hot temperatures make summer the off-season in Phoenix. You can find screaming deals at 4-star resorts with waterparks, nighttime activities, and more in May to September.
  • Driving your own car is the easiest way to get around. Phoenix is a sprawling metropolis, and you may take several highways to get from point A to point B. Use a GPS or a good map.
  • Rush hour traffic can be a problem, but it doesn't last as long in Phoenix as in some other large cities.
  • Phoenix has carpool lanes, but anyone can use them during off-peak hours. You can cross the solid line to enter or exit the carpool lane anytime.
