Forum Mall is a one-stop shop for a great retail experience. This mall is conveniently located in Kormangala, and offers a huge variety of stores and things to do. Also, you can enjoy a great movie experience before or after you browse, as the PVR cinema chain has a location here.
This is one of my favorite malls in Bangalore, featuring some of the best and leading international brands in the city. Though this mall is a bit far out (meaning it's a bit of a drive to get there,) you'll find it an amazing place for a full day of shopping. It's so huge in fact that you're unlikely to cover every store, but with its great architecture and modern buzz, you'll have lots of fun trying!
From clothes to fashion accessories, from antiques to shoes, Commercial Street is a place where you can literally shop till you drop. With big brands outlets, national brands, and local vendors, here you can find everything you might need. Plus, the street is always bustling with people, cars, food — as well as so many things to buy — making it a must-visit destination on any shopping trip to Bangalore.
When in South Bangalore, this is a great mall to stop off at. Here you can browse a wide range of brands, and they have great end of season discounts at certain points throughout the year. Just remember to come fully fueled for your shopping spree — there aren't many eating options onsite.
Located in the heart of Bangalore, this street is always very 'happening,' and though traffic is a problem, shopping, eating, and hanging out with friends here is highly recommended. Choose from one of the many amazing food outlets on offer here after a busy day of shopping, and admire your purchases over a tasty meal.
Mantri Square is one of the biggest malls in the country. It features a bowling alley, cinema, great food court, and many shopping outlets to provide a full day of fun and enjoyment.
The Inorbit chain of malls make for popular shopping destinations in many cities in India. I personally like this location in Bangalore as it tends to be less crowded than other malls in the city, yet still offers plenty of international and local brands to browse. Quiznos, located in the mall, serves up some really yummy submarine sandwiches — the perfect place to refuel when you need a break from the stores!
Another great pick for your shopping spree, Phoenix Marketcity is a full day of fun, food, shopping, and entertainment. The brands here are both international and national, they have a PVR cinema with the choice of reclining seats (a real treat for a movie buff like me!) and the bowling alley and arcade area means fun for the whole family. Moreover, when you're tired from all that browsing and entertainment, the food court offers some really delicious options.
This mall is more of a family shopping mall. While they have some really good brands to choose from, the highlight is definitely the kids' play area, which is great for people whose children are reluctant to let them shop! They have a cinema, and a good food court too — all the ingredients you need for a kid-friendly shopping trip.
Grand Sigma is a 5-level family-friendly mall. Here you can find a great mix of shopping, food, and entertainment options. Many international and local brands are located here, along with some really good burger and coffee options in the tasty food court.
This popular mall is located in a busy area of the city, and is a fun full-day experience to enjoy with friends, or even solo. Brands on offer are diverse — including international chains Mango and Forever 21 — and there is an INOX multiplex cinema onsite for when you'd like to put your feet up!
One of the busiest sweet shops I have ever visited, this place is always buzzing with people desperate to take a bite of Anand's amazing Indian sweets. Offering a huge variety of traditional Indian candies, you'll get a truly delicious and authentic taste of the country when you visit here.
