Munduk Wilderness is a small family run company that offers several adventurous ways of exploring the island. With unusual tour names including 'Haunted Valley Waterfall Expedition' and 'Dragon's Breath Expedition,' you're sure to be in for a unique experience!
Hidden on the coast of East Bali, just past Candidasa, this beach is lined by coconut trees and small Balinese warung (kiosks) selling soft drinks and snacks, as well as snorkel gear to rent. A great place to escape the hustle of busy South Bali!
This is not your usual temple, rice field and shopping tour! The WakaLandCruise transports you by rugged 4x4, along narrow roads and through small picturesque villages that few people ever get to visit. Plus, the day ends with a fantastic lunch at their own Bamboo Forest Restaurant.
Probably the best waterfall experience there is in Bali — Sekumpul is a hidden gem that requires quite a bit of exercise to get to! (Hence you'll only ever see a few other visitors there.)
You see so many Hindu temples dotted around Bali that it's easy to forget that a thriving Buddhist community exists here, as well. Brahma Vihara is an active monastery that you can access by donation, and a great place to wind down, and perhaps enjoy a little meditation time.
This amazing little restaurant is very well hidden and only known by a selected few. With an amazing setting right in the middle of the rain forest and an all-you-can eat buffet style Balinese lunch, it's well worth taking the time to discover.
Menjangan is a little island on the northwest coast of Bali, situated in the West Bali National Park. It's a paradise for scuba divers and snorkelers alike, with vibrant colored reefs to explore and schools of fish to swim among.
