A visit to Istanbul cannot start any better, as Hagia Sophia includes the whole story of the city into a single museum. The history presented by this building is incredible and definitely represents the style of Istanbul, a city which is always on a border ( a border between cultures, a border between continents, a border between civilizations )

The Historic Areas of Istanbul are the main touristic attractions in the cities. They are spread onto a wide zone, but are almost all located in the Fatih district. Art and history lovers will be fascinated by the great architecture which resembles the Oriental style. However, everyone who seeks a special, energic atmosphere should take a walk and spend some time visiting and admiring the masterpieces of this so-controversial city.
