Annecy Lake is one of the deepest natural lakes in the Alps, and its waters are extremely clean due to its glacial origin. The lake offers great opportunities for outdoor activities: walking, hiking, biking on the coast, diving, and paddle boating.
Enjoy the amazing panorama on a cruise across the lake by boat. There are several options to choose from, ranging from one to two hours, and it is a wonderful way to take in the majesty of the lake. You can also choose to hire a bike and cycle around the lake or explore the trail by foot.

In winter, skiing is a must when visiting Annecy, and there are some excellent ski resorts, like La Clusaz, less than an hour's drive away. Go just for a day, or book in a longer stay at La Clusaz village to enjoy skiing and snowboarding in winter, or hiking and golfing in summer.
Le Grand Bornand is a great ski resort, famous for cross-country skiing and biathlon competitions in winter, and a whole range of outdoor activities in summer . One of these is a segway tour, which makes for a fun way for the family to experience the area year-round!
Thones is a mountain village that is well worth visiting. You will find numerous outdoor activities here, including a via ferrata (protected climbing route). which is considered one of the most technical in the French Alps.
