Ivette C's City Tips

  • Tulum is only 64 kilometers from Playa del Carmen, easy to reach via taxi or touristic van. Vans are quite cheap and easy to catch at their official stops in either Cancun or Playa del Carmen, or on the highway.
  • If you are staying at the Hotel Zone of Tulum, it is a good idea to rent a car to explore the area easily.
  • Have a map on hand to calculate distances and know exactly where the interesting places are.
  • If you are thinking about getting around by taxi, be sure to establish a rate for the day with your driver.

One of the most beautiful archaeological zones is this ancient walled city, with one of the most gorgeous, amazing views of the beach. Explore the Mayan ruins, then get refreshed swimming and relaxing on the beach. Perfect for all to enjoy!
