  • 1. Conch House Restaurant
The Conch House Restaurant, Saint Augustine, Florida

Make sure you sit in one of the "pods" overlooking the water. The view is worth the wait. Try the minorcan chowder and sip on a frosty drink while you take in the beautiful surroundings. If you are here at the right time of year you can attend the "Great Chowder Debate" where restaurants from all over town provide samples of their chowder and you can vote for your favorite!

  • 2. Farmers Market on Anastasia Island

Wonderful farmers market located at the ampitheatre on Anastasia Island. Open Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:30pm. Orchids, fudge, glass jewelry, handmade soaps, locally made clothing, fresh flowers, bread, veggies and much more. They even provide little red wagons to haul your purchases (or your little one) around while you shop. Due to a few problems, dogs are no longer allowed in the market.

  • 3. Anastasia Island State Park

Beautiful park with pristine beaches. For just a few dollars per vehicle you can roam these clean and beautiful beaches with your sweetheart and because it is usually uncrowded you may feel like you have it all to yourselves.

  • 4. St. George Street
St. George Street, Saint Augustine, Florida

Historic street with shops, restaurants and attractions. Somewhat touristy, this street is still a must see. There are lots of restaurants and shops. Don't miss the Greek Orthodox Shrine for a cool and peaceful diversion.
