This structure stands alone in its beauty and historical value. Frequently visited by local elephants, the temple offers free-flowing sprouts where water streams continuously. Due to the unique wildlife often present, you should not plan on visiting after dark. You can also visit the Marundhamalai Murugan Temple, which is located about 19 kilometres northwest of Coimbatore. Dating back well over 1,200 years, this sprawling complex sits on a hillside that provides visitors with picturesque views.

After you finish the temple visits, a trip to the G.D. Naidu Museum is in order for history enthusiasts. Open from 8:00 to 16:30 every Monday through Saturday, the museum houses the inventions and industrial accomplishments of G. D. Naidu, also known as the Edison of India. Admission is free.
