Abraham's Spice Garden Questions & Answers

Mysore, Karnataka, India

No necessity of booking tickets in advance. Very rarely visitors visit this garden. No drivers are willing to take you there. Insist the driver to take. Very informative. Worth visit.

From the Northumbrian lass. I totally disagree. Our driver actually suggested Abraham's Garden. I went on my hen and I enjoyed the experience, so knowledgable and fascinating. Be prepared to play guess the spice, well worth a visit. If I'm ever back I would go again.

Untrue regarding the fact that drivers will not take you there. As everyone knows that has visited India there is a level of kick back for drivers taking tourist to various locations. It may have been that certain drivers want to maximise their kick back and therefore are inclined to take you to other places. We found no difficulty with our drivers in asking them to take us to all the places we requested so if you want to go to Abrahams just asked your driver to take you there. You won't be disappointed

It is absolutely untrue that drivers refuse to take people here. Any hired driver or taxi will take you. And yes, it's well worth going. You don't need to book in advance but Mr Abraham asks that you phone the day before to tell him you want to come. All information is on his website.

How thorough a tour he gives you depends on your level of real interest. If he sees that you are genuinely interested in spices and plants, he'll be generous with his time.
