Is this a good place for families with children? Ages 15, 12 and 9. Any advice or experiences from families who have been there before very welcome! Thank you
I fully confirm the above answers. Just a couple of additions: they do have wifi/internet, but it works only at certain spots on the grounds and is unreliable - like most places we visited in India. They do have a kanoo and a river passing by the guest house, and a beautiful beach. Finally, just ask Rosi&Nazir, they will be very open and will have the best advice possible: kannurbeachhouse at gmail. Sorry but this bloody clever tripadvisor doesn't allow email addresses.
We went with family. Depending on what the kids are expecting. Definitely no Internet no malls no ac but a virgin beach some awesome backwaters some hammocks and some good books to snooze with
Exactly as above. See kmpg_bir's answer. I would also give some thought to the food. As long as the children don't mind trying the delicious food there, they will be fine. There was an English family staying there when I went. The 18 year old daughter adjusted perfectly to the local food, but the 12 year old suffered!
