Thinking about the 9 muses for next August. Our 16 year old daughter likes to be around other teenagers with plenty of activities going on. Will there be enough to keep her interested?
I apologize for the delay to your question...
August is the busiest time on the Greek islands . While many will say there is not much for teenagers in Skala , I would have to disagree. There are water sports , excursions, pool, beach and a town that is bustling during the height of the season. I am sure she will have an enjoyable holiday. Hope to see you there
I am bringing 2 x 16 yo girls here next July. Scala is the liveliest of the resorts with bars and water sports and erm Greek boys.... There will be night life in Argistolli.
Hi, Sorry for the delay in answering, we have been in New York.
Scala is beautiful, but not much there for teenagers.
The pool at the hotel is very good, as is the food, but apart from Captains bar there is not much in the way of evening entertainment. I don’t know the legal age for going to bars, so that might be worth checking.
Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
Not much there for teenagers no activities for kids, a few quizzes of evening but more like make your own entertainment.
We were there at the end of September , it was very quiet, I apologise as I'm unable to comment about the August period.
There were very few teenagers when we visited and it was during the school holidays. It was mostly couples and some families with younger children. There are no facilities other than two swimming pools. It also depends on what your teenagers like to do, since most of them seem to be on their phones the majority of time :)
There are water activities nearby I believe.
Wouldn't say it was suitable for sixteen year old. When we went it was mainly older people and couples.
There weren't many teenagers there when we visited, their visitors were mainly in the older age bracket but we went out of school holidays. There isn't that much for teenagers on the site just the bar and pool but the beach is just across the road from the hotel.
Not really a resort for the older teenager. There was one club but that seemed to be filled with 30-40 age group, but plenty to do on the beach .
I am not sure there would be a lot in the hotel for her, as it is a small quiet hotel, which probably appeals more to older couples. I do not recall see many older children there when we were there. There were water sports activities available on the beach, which may appeal but I was not aware of any clubs or groups for children. The resort is very quiet, which is what appealed to us as a retired couple.
Yes, I would think she will find plenty of things to do, lots of water sports by day, lots of restaurants and bars.i think there is at least one club.
Not really. In general it is a quiet island and more suited to adults. I'm sorry if that has upset your travel p!and but I did ask what older children were doing with their time. Maybe when she is off doing her own holidays you can go as a couple which is really what it is suited to. Hope that helps.
