The negative reviews would be a perfect opportunity for management to address the issues raised by customers and yet you haven't, your silence is testament and gives credence to the customers who felt that they received bad service but it also speaks volumes about the level of customer service one can expect and the arrogance of believing that trip advisor reviews have no weight to them in terms of potential customers.
Why have you not attempted to explain and apologise to disgruntled customers?
Totally agree with the other responses, I've only ever experienced good service at the Digby and we've eaten there many times as the kids love the play area. Even when another customer got drunk and verbally abused other diners and staff I have only ever witnessed professionalism from the team there...
We called in for coffee one morning and received excellent service. I don't understand the problem.
Like others have said I reviewed as a customer and cant answer for the management but I will add that in my experience the staff were very good.
My wife and I visited the restaurant on the odd chance of getting a meal.The restaurant was extremely busy and initially was classified as full.However with the help of a very friendly staff member a table was cleared and we enjoyed a very well cooked and presented meal ,served with cheerful smiles.
