Hi,

Units are individually owned so decor will vary. I have stayed here 4 times in the last 7 years. Always the same unit. No problems ever with smell or roaches. We usually stay for a minimum of 7 days.

We have stayed in several of these units since 2005 with our last month's visit this past winter. Have stayed at other places but this is our favorite. Plan to return next year with all the family. We have never had any problems or roaches. Love the friendly staff and the grounds are beautiful and the ocean pool can't be beat!

Just dont go - they charged us over $150 for "cleaning" after we stayed for 2 nights. This was more than the room rate per night. Air conditioning was under lock and key and have to pay extra per day. All the fees are hidden in the small print and are only made clear to you when you check out and you have no option but to pay them, Management company not prepared to discuss this at all - really awful experience and strongly suggest you dont use such a rip off company.

Oh, and no there were no extra fees tacked on. They do chg for cleaning after your stay, but it is included in your rental agreement so no surprise.

They are owned indivually, some of the units are not so nice. When we checked in the unit assigned had no air conditioning and was dirty. When we complained, they moved us to the unit next door and it was lovely, clean and the air worked... All in all, we had a great stay.

We had a fantastic time, no cockroaches that we saw, they spray weekly but it is Hawaii so cockroaches are a possibility. No smell, no extra charges. They used to be individually owned but I don't know anymore.

The property is a mix of individual owners along with those owned by Outrigger.

Ours was unit 3104 and was rented via Alohacondos. Wonderfully clean. No smells and no pests. A great unit looking right out to the ocean.

To follow up on my prior answer to this question. No odor, roaches, etc. in the unit we use. There is a standard cleaning fee which applies whether you are staying one night or more ($175) so it is a better value the longer you are in the unit. There is more involved in cleaning a condo than a regular hotel room...multiple bathrooms, kitchen, living spaces and bedrooms. Yes, units are individually owned. There are two different management companies handling reservations and the maintenance of the units they manage. We used Castle Resorts for our trip.
