Traveling to DC for a Girls Cherry blossom weekend. Stopping in Philly for lunch. How easy is it to get to Tommy DiNic's from the highway and if we have one stop is Tommy DiNics the place?
not easy access passing thru.
Tommy DiNics is inside of Reading Terminal Market and I would definitely make it your one stop! I personally love the pork sandwich with sharp provolone and broccoli rabe from DiNics. Also if you love a good Reuben sandwich, Hershel's Deli (best Reuben ever) is right next to DiNics. I also recommend getting some donuts for the road at Beiler's bakery, they are literally the best donuts ever. Reading terminal market is full of great places, you should definitely go there!
you would have to go to downtown and find parking and then go inside reading terminal. it is really not that good. I would go to other place
It's not that far from the highway at all. It's actually really close. For subs and hoagies, I highly recommend hands down.
not that far from the highway at all. and if you going on a weekend parking should not be a problem. it's definitely worth the trip
As stated in previous comments, DiNic's is not far from the highway but parking is a bad mother for you and it's not quick. I love, love, LOVE DiNic's but unless you have a couple of hours to kill, I'd go elsewhere.
The market isn't that far from the Highway . As for Tommy DiNics , I love roast pork , broccoli rabe , etc . Do you ?? It is very good . The market itself is very interesting . There are over 25 places to eat in the market . Its a Philadelphia Icon . Have fun , safe trip !
The market isnt far from the highway . As for DiNics being the place . Hmmm Do you like Roast Pork ??? The market its self is unbelievable . There are about 25 places to eat in the market . I would try Tommy DiNics myself . Good luck , Safe trip !
Wasn't that big a fan and certainly wouldn't want to deal with finding and then parking at Reading Terminal if you're working against the clock. I'd use the TA map feature and find one of the great neighborhood cheese steak places....just another opinion. Enjoy the trip!!!!
