Hi we have tickets for an 8pm show on 42nd st. What time should we make the reservation for?
I would say 6pm. I happen to prefer getting to my theater seats without rushing. Enjoy!
I'd agree with those suggesting 6 P.M. Let them know when you arrive that you have an 8 P.M. curtain. They're well used to handling pre-theater service.
Hi: I would make reservations for 5:45pm. Tell them to make sure they save your table and you will be out in plenty of time. It's a small place as most of nyc restaurants. It is about a 15 minute walk from Port Authority so you will have to judge how long for the show. Enjoy!
They serve beautifully so I would say six would work!
Hope you enjoy dinner at El Punto as much as we did!
Service is efficient, and the walk to 42nd St is short. But I would recommend 6 pm, so you won't feel rushed. 6:30 may be OK, but you would be cutting it close.
It's nice to have a leisurely dinner at Il Punto. Make sure that you make your reservations WAY in advance. My experience is that they fill up fast with reservations for those going to an 8:00 show. The first time I dined there, I tried to make 6:00 reservations on a Tuesday for a Friday night show. The only time I could get was 5:00. It worked out fine, because we walked for a while after dinner and before the show. But, now I know to make the reservations earlier. The last time I dined there, I made the reservations a week and a half in advance. Enjoy.
6:15 should give you ample time without rushing. Enjoy!
