I would tend to think not as some areas are rather fragile and are roped off.
Unless the dog is a service animal, I believe the answer is no. The landmark is only accessed through the main museum area. For Native Americans, the whole area is sacred.

Hello, I would agree with the comment above. I can't recall seeing any signs indicating whether dogs were or were not allowed but your visit will not be lengthy. I think your pet would be safe in a vehicle for a short period of time with windows down a bit.
I doubt if you can bring a dog into the museum. However, the monument has quite a bit of property and a large parking lot. I am certain you can arrange to go in and out of the museum and monument as often as necessary to allow a dog out to take a walk. We were there when the weather would permit a dog to stay in the vehicle.
