I don't believe so. Plus there's no way to see the entire place just by walking. Highly recommend the Stroll/ride tour. Cover way more ground, and the guides are really knowledgeable.
No, guided tours only.
The property is spread out over many acres. It would be difficult to see the art work and the variety of plants. There are a couple of areas that are within walking distance of the main office but those areas provide limited exposure.
No you can’t. These are guided tours only.
The Limahuli Garden & Preserve has a self guided option. These gardens are very nice as well just different, more plants and trees. But you get a beautiful view of the ocean and mountains when you get to the top area. The price is less as well.
No, we had wanted to do that too but believe me when I say you want the guided tour. You will learn so much
To further answer what you did not ask....
YOu can walk around the National Botanic Garden near Poipu.
I don't think so.
I don’t believe so. All the tours are guided. If you have children, The children’s garden is definitely cool. Also, if you have a membership to another botanic garden in the US, you may get a discount on your ticket.
