Hi can somebody help me please. We are a large family of about 15 and in August 2018 we are planning to go here for a 40th birthday. We all have small children and so we really want to find a balance. We want lovely child friendly beaches, somewhere busy like with shops restarants and markets etc but we’d also like somewhere with a bit of nightlife. We’re not into big night clubs etc but as it’s a 40th we’d obviously like to listen to some music/entertainment in the evenings and have a few drinks. Can anyone recommend where we should stay for this? I doubt we’ll hire a car so if this could all be on our doorstep that would be great! We stayed in correlejo before which was beautiful but we really wanted to try somewhere else and was considering the south!
This would be a great place for you. All the family hotels are wonderful and would suit your need but I would say its a budget thing. You can have anything from high end hotels, upto 7 star or all the way down to self catering. The beach is amazing but just so you know there are a lot of nudists, to avoid the nudists you really need to be closer to the old town which is the southern most area. Have a wonderful time
As other contributes said Moro Jable is nice, quiet place, with amazing beach. This place is loved by Germans because of it's association with W. Brandt. While we had some evening entertainment in the hotel I do not think this is the place for nightlife. We have not been but there is a free bus to Oasis Animal Park which could be good place to take children.
Hi I guess the Best choice about this information is near Paya de Jandia. Tere is an amazing beach and plenty of shops and tourist life.
Morro Jable has better restaurants but there are less shops and nightlife.
The beach is such as amazing like whole the south part of Fuerteventura with less wind then the north.
Hi I loved Morro De Jable as it was quieter . The beaches are beautiful but you need to be aware of a strong current at times. If ur looking for nightlife I would suggest somewhere else as it's mainly restaurants and bars and I didn't notice a lot of children . It was more couples where I was but that was what I wanted.
if it's Fuertuventura your after then Morro Jable is a big tick for the beach and shops. Not too many restaurants and I can't say about nightlife, a few places did have music but again we did go in January!! The best market was in Costa Calma.
Jandia is a bit quieter than Correlejo. Having said that the beaches are beautiful and all golden sand and the sea is very calm on the south east of the island so ideal for kids. A few bars and restaurants but not the same nightlife as around Correlejo. We preferred it but its each to their own. Id suggest Gran Canaria of you want more of a night life somewhere like Las Palmas.
