Do they have Yurt Tents like they have at Natahala? How much are they?
Yurt lodging at the Chattooga is more of a group facility although families can stay as well. Full kitchen, dining area, charcoal grill and firepit are available for yurt visitors at the Commons Building. the Yurts themselves are bunk style and you must bring your own bedding and towels. 6 fully private bathrooms are also available at the commons building.
Other lodging options at the Chattooga are the Wildwater Cottages and the high end Jawbone and Corkscrew Cabins.
Unfortunately, we only went for the day so I am unable to answer your question. Sorry. I don't know how important that is to you, but we had a great time and are making plans to go back this summer.
I looked at their Yurt Tents on line. They do not have queen size beds, coffee pots, or fans in the room. Just bunkbeads. Maybe overhead fans, but you couldn't tell by the picture. Nothing like the ones in Natahala. I would love to go to the Long Creek site, but would rather have the luxury of the Yurt Tent at Natahala. So, back to the drawing board to see where we will be going. Need a step up on the white water rafting.
Yes they also have the Yurt tents as well. Im not sure of pricing. Yurts have no bathroom, A/C or fridge. A step up from tent camping. The bathrooms are very close by.
