How far is Dundee from downtown Portland and Willamette Valley when driving how long will it take to get to either place.
Dundee is in the Willamette Valley. I would allow a little over an hour from downtown PDX to reach Dundee.
It's about thirty miles but not a quick journey. We usually have lunch in Dundee and visit a couple of wineries. Sometimes the aviation museum near McMinville.
Wewent to the coast before going to the Valley so not sure but probably 2 hrs
If you take I5 south w/no traffic, it is 15 miles south to South Wilsonville exit, then a beautiful 13 miles west along Wilsonville road to Newberg-nice old town-try restaurant "Recipe" there, then 3 more miles to Dundee.
It will take you at least an hour.
The faster way is i5 to hwy 99-not scenic but you do pass a wetland w/eagle nests.
Dundee (and Willamette Valley) is about 1.5 hours drive from downtown Portland
Portland is in the Willamette Valley so you are already there; lots of sights and things to do. Dundee is on Hwy 99 on the way to the beach and is only one hour from Portland. Dundee is the hazel nut capitol of the world and lately a great place to visit wineries and even an olive farm.
