Are there hotels and resturants in this area. Also, where can I buy Cleveland Cavs championship tee shirts.
oh...and lots of restaurants. of all varieties and prices. Little Italy is close by with great food but there are many selections in and around University Circle.....including one at the Cleveland Museum of Art...which has free admission for the general collection. Special exhibits will cost a fee. I have written reviews of a couple of restaurants in the University Circle area. Case Western Reserve University is part of UC and there are a number of pages and food places that appeal to students as well. Hope this helps.
Dick's Sporting Good carries a large selection of CAVs championship items. check the internet for locations. there are some locally owned, small places to stay. The Intercontinental Hotel is close to University Circle and within the complexes of The Cleveland Clinic. There are also hotels as part of recognized chains in downtown Cleveland where there is regular transit service down Euclid Avenue that connect downtown with University Circle. You may also want ti check Air BnB or rental space in homes and apartments ts around the area.
Glidden House is lovely, modern but period style inn right on the CWRU campus and located in the heart of University Circle.
Besides the mass marketing Cavs t-shirts, there are numerous local shops that have local artists' Cavs merch - like Made in the 216 on Coventry Rd at Euclid Hts in Cleveland Hts; also a kiosk by the food court at Beachwood Place mall has a couple styles.
Yes, there are hotels in the area but I don't remember any being within walking distance.
Cavs championship t-shirts are available in many places, from Kohl's to a local shop.
