Do you have shuttle service from nearest airport?
I think the nearest airport is Sydney and I'm pretty sure it will be more than an hours drive. Since Keltic Lodge, and the Cabot Trail itself, is very rural, you would probably be better off renting a vehicle at the airport and driving to the Lodge. It is a very easy drive and that way you would be able to see more of Cape Breton Island which you must see if you are planning to stay at the lodge.
If you would like any further information, please feel free to ask as we just returned from Nova Scotia 2 weeks ago.
I am not aware of a shuttle. If you fly into Halifax, the drive to the Keltic Lodge is approximately five hours. If you fly into Sydney, the drive is approximately two hours. Your best bet would be to rent a car at the airport. It wouldn't hurt to contact the Keltic lodge to see if they can arrange for transportation.
if you fly into Sydney it shouldn't be a long cab drive but we don't think there's a shuttle.
You would have to check with the hotel. The nearest major airport is in Halifax Nova Scotia which is around 5 hours drive away.
I doubt very much if they do. In fact, the biggest airport in Nova Scotia is in Halifax, which is several hours away. Nova Scotia in general is a place where you either want a car or join a tour. Towns are far apart and public transportation is scarce.
Sorry can't help as we were on a coach tour. Suggest you mail the hotel.
You will need to rent a car. Do not trust your GPS! Our rental GPS told us to drive off cliffs and that the hotel was in the middle of the ocean. It was an adventure to find the place.
The closest town is 20-30 minutes away at least.
