We are interested in staying at the Artisan Inn but are a little confused as to the location of the rooms and also the views, we are a couple. Which room did you stay inn?
Thnx so much
Hello Sharon, We stayed in room # 9 which is the ground floor of a separate building close to the main building. The room has a kitchen, large sofa, dining table and very large bedroom with kingsize bed and two Muskoka chairs on the verandah…We really enjoyed it here very much! If you plan on staying there, please give our regards to our fellow countrywoman Tineke, who owns this great place.
Kind regards from Holland, Henk
We stayed in Barbour Premise - a green building with cream trim and "Artisan Inn" on the side- see photo across top when you "Click to learn more about Barbour Place" on the website. There are 2 rooms upstairs. We stayed 3 nights in the Cove Room and our last night in the Trinity Room. The Cove room has a view toward the water from the bathroom and the bedroom plus a second bedroom window on the side with the "Artisan Inn" sign. The two windows in the Trinity Room looked over the street toward town. The Cove room had the better view and was significantly more spacious.
We didn't see any sign of accommodation in the red building that housed The Twine Loft Restaurant. The restaurant and its kitchen took up the main floor. A comfortable and welcoming common area for guests and the office appeared to take up the second floor.
i hope this helps.
We also stayed in a room behind the Twine loft restaurant. You could look over the top at the bay.The ambiance at this inn and food at the restaurant was amazing.
They have a few little houses each with rooms. So their properties are scattered around Trinity. We stayed in the lighthouse view house. The view out of the room itself wasn't great, but it was a two bedroom house with a living room/common area, kitchen and deck and the view from those areas was beautiful because the windows were bigger and all around. They have other homes that overlook the bay but I can't speak to those because I was never in them.
We stayed in a room in the Twine loft overlooking the bay.
