Only certified medical assistance animals are allowed in the museum.
I saw a sign that only service dogs were permitted inside.
I doubt anyone would want to take a dog into any place unless it was a service animal or a place strictly for dogs and under those pretenses ...yes. I have a service dog and we were allowed to go in.
That being said I wouldn’t go any place where my service dog was not allowed but I was fairly amazed at this museum and what I learned about this town (beings my whole family is Andy Griffith fan).
I bought enough souvenirs to spread amongst my whole family and was glad to support this town through here.
I really do not know and I don't remember seeing any inside the museum.
When we were there they were under construction. I would call and ask the museum otherwise unless he is a medical dog, I would say no.
I'm sorry I didn't notice signs but there were no dogs there when I was. I'd advise contacting the museum.
I've seen people with dogs on leashes outside, but I doubt they would be allowed inside unless it is a service dog. Still worth a stop to have photo made with statue even if you decide not to enter.
I did not see any signs stating such. I would be leary though and check beforehand directly with the museum. (1-336-786-1604)
Pets are not allowed inside unless they are Service Animals.
I don't know for sure, but the building is quite small, so I can't imagine that dogs would be welcome.
not inside unless it is a service animal
You need to call the office.
I saw some people on the grounds walking a dog, but no, not allowed inside.
Sorry, do not know.
No not unless "Service Animals"
I can not say for sure, however due to renovations go on, it is a small area and pets could be a challenge
