Please provide a description of the Meadowlark and Craighead rooms.thank you
The room (#3) is located on the main floor eight across from the resident staff area - we liked it because it was private even though on firat floor, by that i mean we didnt have to run into other lodgers in the hall...and such. We could easily poo out of our room for a hot cup of tea or to just sit on the porch area and back again.
The room is large, with a reading nook, a table and chairs tucked in a corner, a large clean bathroom, a window seat, fireplace which we loved - and yes, it does face the alley and isnt a "river view" room - but we actually found it to be very private and quiet.
The Craighead room is one of my favorite rooms at Goldsmith's. It's on the first floor across from the kitchen but is quiet. It is a large room with a table/chairs and other sitting areas, a fireplace, TV, and bathroom. I believe it has a queen size bed. The room is very nicely decorated but doesn't have a river view. My husband and I were very comfortable in it. We haven't stayed in the Meadowlark room.
