Cape Arundel Inn & Resort Questions & Answers

Fairfield, Connecticut

During our stay, would like to take in a kayak tour preferably on one of those pristine rivers in Maine that I hear about. I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks all.

The only place we have kayaked that isn't very far from Arundel Inn is the Scarborough marsh. I'm not sure if they do tours but it is absolutely breathtaking and lovely! The Audubon Nature Center rents canoes and sit on top kayaks that you can use to explore the marsh area.. You can also bring your own kayak. I'm not sure if they do tours but it is absolutely breathtaking and lovely. You would probably want to check with them about the time for high tide and low tide so that you will know when to plan your trip if you choose to go there. Hope this helps!
