Ice skating at the indoor rink, tubing and more activities in the Fun Park a short drive from downtown. Depending on their ages a children's museum by Peak 9. Children of all ages love the dog-sledding adventure but reserve ahead. There is a movie theatre and performance arts theatre in the arts district off Main on Ridge Street. The Chamber is incredibly active so check the River Walk Center for concerts, etc.

There are definitely options -- sledding and snow tubing, ice skating, snow shoeing. and for non-outdoor activities, there are indoor swimming pools and rec centers nearby and the usual assortment of movie theaters and such.
