Embassy Suites by Hilton Hotel Monterey Bay - Seaside Questions & Answers

Kirkwood, MO

I see this hotel charges for parking (not sure why since all others in the area don't). Does anyone know if there is free overnight parking anywhere nearby?

The only place nearby is a Holiday Inn Express. I'd ask Embassy to waive the parking, after all the place is a construction zone. Good luck.

There wasn't during our stay in July. However that might have been because of the construction. Part of the parking lot was fenced off because of the construction.

Hi we stayed there 25th to 28th June and they were not charging for parking. Some of the parking lot is being used by the builders doing the refurbishment but we never had a problem finding a space.

We did not pay for parking when we stayed there. They give you a parking stub to put in the window that is all we had to do after we checked in.

I'm not aware of any free parking nearby. The parking charge may be negotiable given the construction underway. Can't hurt to ask for a waiver of the parking fee.

There seems to be an area where you might be able to park in the area shared by Chili's and the Embassy Suites, but the property parking lot is insecure enough. At least in theory someone drives by to see if you have a parking permit on your dash, but $14.50 doesn't get you much for your parking dollar - e.g. a controlled lot with vigilance.

I don't recall paying for parking when I stayed there back in May.

Quick update, the hotel waived parking for us. And the construction really wasn't a big inconvenience, at least for my family. Thanks everyone!
