No. There is a wonderful deli where you can buy supplies for a picnic lunch. Most visitors do

No need to pay for using the open ground. Entry fee is only for wine tasting.

Sounds like you want to bring in your own picnic lunch, which you can't do. As the above people have answered, V. Sattui has a fantastic market with prepared meals, or meals to order, cheeses, etc...and lots of wine. The picnic area has tables, but many people also bring blankets to sit down on the grounds. Fun place to stop, eat well, drink nice wine, and relax. Beware - it is popular and crowded.

There is no entrance fee to enter the grounds, but I do recommend their food counter. The food is fresh and tastes great! And you will probably want to pick up a bottle of wine. :)

No - there is no entrance fee to the picnic area. But you are not allowed to bring your own food and beverage.

But you can buy this in the market hall. We bought some bread, cheese and salad along with a bottle of wine. It was excellent. They provide glasses, cuttlery and what ever you might need.

There is a concierge at the entrance who would probably not allow you to bring your own picnic foods onto their grounds. There are other spots and public areas in Napa Valley that might be perfect for a picnic....good luck.
