Is it ok to bring 2 kids with us for the Garden/Cellar Tasting? We were also thinking of bringing along a picnic.
We had an adult with our group who was not drinking. I don't think they charged her at all to follow the tour with the rest of us, so they would probably let your kids come.
Also, you will be taken through areas where there are vats and industrial equipment...I would be concerned for the safety of younger children going through these sections.
It was a great tour...very interesting for us, but again, maybe not for little kids.
No problem, you can sit outside and enjoy yourself.
We brought our 6 month old with us. We sat outside at the picnic tables and it was fine.
A picnic would be really nice. The house/deck area may be a bit small if your kids like to get away from the table but they have sitting areas just off the deck which would be a good place to sit. That way they could walk around a bit if they get bored with wine talk.
They were really nice to our 2 yr old. they gave her grape juice so she felt included. there are chickens and some areas to the side where she ran around.
How old? I’m not sure they have an official policy on kids or food. However, as wine tastings cost a pretty penny, I’d definitely side eye anyone who brought children young enough to disrupt the ambiance & experience of what I’d consider an adult environment.
