I'm a girl traveling solo to Roatan and staying in this hotel. Definitely i would like to see people and probably celebrate my birthday. I'm reading about this hotel and seems like it is for couples and it is pretty far from restaurants and bars. I also like that is a beautiful boutique hotel and the staff is amazing, but I'm wondering if I will see only couples there and to visit different places at night will be difficult. Please let me know.
Hi Karin! I'm glad you asked, while here are plenty of couples there are often single travelers as well as friend travelers. I often enjoy having a single traveler as I often extend dinner and drink invites as I live alone. It's a great place and it is a 5-8 minute walk to the restaurants and bars. Hope to see you in Roatan soon!
Hi Karin, we went as a family of four but during our stay there were about five people there as 'singles' (although a couple were sharing) who our elder kids hooked up with. As Lisa says above, you are in a good quiet location but just ten minutes away from the buzz if you want it. Roatan is too good a place to miss so although I cannot comment as a single visitor, I can recommend the place.
Hello Karin, I stayed there as a single female in November and there were several other guests also staying alone. It's a 10 minute walk to everywhere so it's really not far. It is not fancy. It is very clean and I loved it!!!
I stayed there with my adult daughter. We both had fun doing what we each wanted to do. There was a man staying there whose wife wasn't able to go at the last minute. He, my daughter and I shared a touring car with a guide on two separate days. People are so relaxed and friendly there. That includes both the natives and hotel guests so you definitely won't feel left out or ignored.
