What entertainment and facilities are there at the resort other than the amazing infinity pool? For example, are there bike rentals or snorkelling opportunities?
There are canoes and stand up paddle boards for free. They also supply snorkels - but we brought our own. There's a spa with all sorts of lovely treatments. And a ping pong table. A fabulous hotel cat called Moustache - and a very helpful woman on the tours desk. I am dreaming of being back at Mo'orea right now.
This is a small facility which has a small library, small workout room, medium sized bar and restaurant. It is not walking distance to any place except a great restaurant 20 minutes up the road. There is a pool bar and the pool. That's it. Get a room with ocean view and see other islands.
One cab trip to town will be enough to see all that is there. Most people stay in this area because they want a day or two before or afterf a cruise.
Hi Naomi, sadly we had tropical downpours during our stay so we did not ask about water sports or anything like that. This hotel seems to cater primarily for short stay guests as most travel on to the smaller islands.
This hotel is located in a beach area. It is known for it's great ocean view & magnificent infinity pool that is adjacent to the ocean. We did not use any of the other facilities. However they do have a tourist desk in the lobby which can answer your question about other facilities and external activities, Your best bet is to contact them directly either via phone or email & they will give you all of the info that you need.
I didnt see anything like that. In general the area isnt one known for either. Its also off a very busy main road and they drive like maniacs! That said, Im sure they can arrange anything you need. Polynesia thrives on tourism and they are excellent at it.
I agree with what the other traveler said, we booked our excursions to the interior of the island and around the island ahead of time. I loved the infinity pool early in the morning because I was the only one in it! There is good shopping in town, great restaurants to eat at.... not sure about bike rentals but you can rent almost anything you want, just ask the staff at the hotel. They are great and should be able to fix you right up! Snorkeling on Moorea and Bora Bora were fantastic, but we didn't have time to snorkel on Tahiti. Again ask the staff, they will know of a good place I'm sure. If you get the chance walk about 2 blocks and eat at the food trucks, it's really good and reasonable in cost. We had swordfish and a chocolate rum crepe there :)
