I'm coming to visit with 2 babies so will have 2 pushchairs. is it easy to get around the temples or will I be restricted having pushchairs with me?
Hi Stacey. Yes, it will be possible to access the Karnak Temple with with a stroller, but please be advised it's a cobblestone pavement, so not so even by the most part. When I was there, I've seen wheel-chairs being used, so should be fine for a push-chair too, I guess. I won't advise carry on the little ones - the distances in Egypt are vast - we walked 10km straight on an "average" full-day tour! Just make sure to use sunscreen and hats as the shade is sparse over there - after all, you're somewhat in the desert!
I think with two push chairs you may struggle a little bit, any possibility you could carry little ones? there are quite tight spaces in some of the areas including stairs and a ramp to get to the top, ok if you are fit enough, but don't let it put you off its fantastic you will regret not going.
Sorry, a big late replying. Should be okay but not totally smooth underfoot.
