Be aware that this area although entertaining, is not the most hygienic of places. If you can hold your bladder until you get to your hotel...do so. If not, there are a few cafes in the square. The Morrocans are friendly people and can't see it being a problem on using their toilet.

Hello barbara b we found that almost every where we went if you needed the loo as long as you asked politely they had no problems and the only reel problem if your a male is some of the loos are squat toilets used by squatting, rather than sitting as some of the buildings are very old hope this helps.

You'll find you sweat so much you probably won't need to go to the loo that often. We just went when we had lunch and dinner.

Not really. Moroccans are pretty laid back. If your polite then it's no problem. We had a few situations when we're forced to do the same. Have a great trip

Unfortunately we didn't use the toilets at all so I am unsure! You sometimes have to pay but it's just pennies I believe!
