As the market is (at least for me) central Prague, you can get there walking from the city center. Tthis is pretty nice and short walk, i do not know how fast you can walk but it is not more than 30 minutes of walking from, lets say, Wenceslaw Square or Charles Bridge. And it is on the right side of the river, using the same logic as in Paris, for example.

It is also near the subway station "Karlovo namesti" (exit Palackeho namesti) and near the tram stops "Palackeho namesti" or "Vyton" (trams numner 3, 7, 17 and maybe some more). I prefer Vyton, there are some nice cafes around. Just on the corner near the stop they offer delicious ice-cream, one of the best in Prague...

The market is really closed to the center. Take the tram line 17 from the National theatre or the Charles bridge. Or use the metro (yellow line B) to Karlova namesti, exit Palackeho and you are there ...

Otherwise, you can just walk up the river, on the left side ....

i would suggest you to take a walk from Wenceslav square or Charles bridge (less than 10 mins) or you can take a tram from a station close to Charles bridge and get out after 2 stops. enjoy beautiful Prague
