Unsure because it's further away from the city centre. You may be able to see the fire works from the sky but may need accom closer to Southbank eg Mantra or Rydges Southbank or North Quay for full action eg Oaks Casino Towers. :)

Hi Adelene

Not great here for riverfire. Too far away from the action. Apolgies to the Riverside Hotel but another hotel I've reviewed, The Mercure Brisbane, would be better, secure a river room.

Hi Adelene, I am not sure if Riverfire extends that far up the river. We have stayed at Rydges, Southbank and walked across to Southbank to watch Riverfire or our other pick would be to stay somewhere near the Story Bridge. If you were to contact Brisbane View Motel I am sure they would advise more accurately than myself regarding views of Riverfire from this location.

Hi Adelene, If you get a Riverview room, the hotel is right on the river with view of the passenger terminal. I can post a photo of the view if I can. Regards Lynda

It's on the Brisbane River, but maybe too far out to see all the action.
