Round Hill Hotel & Villas Questions & Answers

New York City, New York

Would you recommend booking an oceanview patio room, or a deluxe villa? Having an outdoor terrace/patio area is essential for us, but I'm wondering if the villas are that much more private?

If having an outdoor terrace or patio area is important to you, we recommend booking a villa. The villas range from 2 bedrooms to 6 bedrooms and are completely private based on how they are landscaped. If it is only 2 persons traveling, you may book a self-contained suite in a villa that has its own keyed entrance, bathroom, and living room/patio. In this case you may share the villa with other guests. Feel free to contact our reservations department and an agent would be happy to assist you in booking the perfect accommodation.

Villas are very private and secluded. But if you want to be closer to beach pool and amenities then go for ocean room. Be prepared to do some walking if you want a villa.

Villa. We started in the hotel, it was noisy in the evening and mornings. Top level doesn't have outdoor patio. We switched to a Villa. It was quiet and still had a partial ocean view, plus patio area. The Villa is a much more unique experience and you can still find a partial or complete ocean view depending on locations available.

If your comparing the beachfront hotel to the Villa's I feel they are much more private and many have water views in the distance and a pool. They are designed to make you feel your secluded.

The hotel is beachfront but the Villa's are more private

We loved having a villa and the privacy it afforded, however, if you want to step out right onto beach without a walk or ride, the ocean room is for you

Definitely go for a villa. You have complete privacy if you take the whole villa. The living room is completely open (covered of course). You won't be sorry.
