I’ve heard there is a deposit which needs to be paid at check in, is this true? If so am I able to pay it cash and will I receive the full deposit amount back the minute I. check out if no charges have been made to the room such as mini bar or room service?
there was a fridge in the room but this was empty which we could use for our own use, the hotel swiped a credit card as security incase of damages no deposit was required, there was a safe already in the room for use without payment
Yes. this is the usual card hold for all hotels. you will get the amount refunded on check out.
Not sure. I put this on the credit card and noted I still had a full credit limit shortly after leaving. Like you I have no time for hotel minibars
