it was a Queen, the room was tight but we didn't have any issues as I had expected it to be a small room. We figured we'd be spending most of our time out and about, so didn't need a giant room... just wanted a nice place to sleep at night !

We firstly has a shoebox size room and moved to a cosy room size, we had no issue with the bed size in either rooms - it seemed fine.

I believe so but if I were you I would send off an email to the hotel who will be able to give you exact information. They may have rooms with different size beds.

According to the hotel website:

Cosy rooms are our third biggest, each one perfectly formed to fit two people without getting under each other’s feet. They’ve got a little less floor space than the Roomy rooms, but still have all of The Hoxton perks, and all of the overnight essentials you might need. Cosy rooms are on average 18 square metres and have a comfy double mattress (150 x 200cm).
