Use the Bus into town if possible if you have access from your site.... It's the best option and a lot cheaper than day parking prices.....one you get off the bus Walk down the Main cobbled street until you reach the Kath Kidston shop and take the street directly opposite this... Takes you through to the beach

All the buses to St Ives seem to stop at the bottom of the hill at the 'Square' and this is only 5-10 min walk to the Portmeor beech. Head down to Fore Street and then left on the Digey, Following the signs to the Tate gallery.

Short stay car parks are limited to 3hours and long stay were always full at the beginning of August, so if your driving in, then park at the leisure centre and get the bus down or walk, depending on how much kit you have.
