Is there any chance for us visitors going up to top of this building?
Oooh , Not sure about this .. Getting to the top ?
Maybe go on website or even phone ?
Sorry i could not help much ..
I don't think there is a tower you can climb.
I don't know, sorry. I don't think it's normally open. Why not go up to the Park near Park Street where is a good view near the Cabot Tower?
I'm not sure. there was a lot of work going on when I was there and so not all of the cathedral was open to visitors...
Sorry I don’t know, suggest you google the cathedral, there you should find the answer to your question.
I’ve still got the leaflet from the cathedral so I’ve had s look but can’t see anything about your being able to go up a tower. There is a telephone number which you could perhaps ring and find out - it’s (0117) 926 4879 or there is a website but trip advisor says I can’t include it!
I’m sure if you go along you’ll really enjoy the visit as it is quite impressive with its very high vaulted ceiling.
Hope this helps.
Well actually I don t know if it is possible to visit the top. I saw no references to this type of tour.
Sorry. I really don’t know.
Sorry, I don't know - I don't remember it being offered. There are other places to get a good view over Bristol, such beside the Cabot Tower.
I think they do high level tours on 'open doors' day at the Cathedral, but you'd need to check the website. If you're into high level tours, then I can recommend the Wills Memorial Building at the top of Park Street, where you'll be taken to the top of the tower via the belfry, and via the fascinating suites of chambers and the halls. And then of course, there's Bath Abbey and Wells Cathedral.....
While visiting we met some really helpful guides working within the Cathedral so I would suggest this may be an idea to ask when visiting. All the staff were very helpful & pleasant people I am sure they would help.
Sorry I don’t know!
