Family Life Creta Paradise by Atlantica Questions & Answers

Nottingham, United Kingdom

Hi, we have just booked a 2 week stay and we are trying to find out where certain rooms are located. I know a few people have mentioned the Olympus side?? We have just booked an inland room not a sea view room so was wondering will we be near the pool or across the road?? . I don’t know which is the Olympus side (if that’s right). Many Thanks Jenny

Dear Mrs. Jenny,

First of all we would like to thank you for your message and for choosing our hotel Family Life Creta Paradise for your holidays.

Regarding the Olympus side, I would like to inform you that is across the road. It's more quiet with a swimming pool and a snack bar.

At Afrodite side is all the main facilities.

Both sides are nice and not far away from each other.

Please be so kind to send us a personal email from our website and inform us about your request and your reference number.

We are always at your disposal, for any further information.

With kind regards,

Despina Karahatzidi,

Hi Jenny,

We had exactly the same dilemma when booking a trip to this hotel.

Olympus "side" has its own pool area, which is smaller and more peaceful than Afrodite side. We stayed at the Afrodite side but our entourage had one couple staying in Olympus so we went exploring that area too. It was clearly more calm there, no kids running around and very many rooms seemed to have their own pool also which they shared with couple of other rooms.

If you're a couple looking for a calm place, book Olympus, if you have kids book Afrodite and you'll be closer to all services that the hotel have and you don't need to cross the small road which is in between these two sides.

Hope this comment was helpful to you and please feel free to ask more.

Hello, thank you everyone!

We are travelling with our 2 year old daughter so didn’t really want to be across the road and away from the activities etc. So am I right thinking the side with all the activities and main pool is the Afrodite side? Thank you for all your messages. We stayed at a family life last year so just hope it’s as good! Another quick question.... is there a children’s pool with a slide in as most family life hotels show this but don’t recall seeing one here. Many Thanks

hi, we were on the Olympus side effectively its across the local road from the main hotel . a very short distance just a minute or two stroll . Olympus side equally good quality and has its own small pool. If you like to stay up late and drink avoid this side as the pool bar shuts at 6.00 . we had to carry a drink( all inclusive ) back to our balcony . Olympus side ideal if you want quiet early nights . lovely hotel and food etc. we used the beach sun beds area as pool side is family based and quite noisy. take a plastic flask/ mug and top up with cold drink to take down to beach .

Hi,

We stayed October just gone & had an inland room booked - on arrival we were given a beach front family room ☺️ I did email ahead to the hotel to ask for room in the main hotel & that we’d need a cot in our room, but what a fab free upgrade. Maybe worth you emailing ahead too x

Hi Jenny. We booked the standard inland room through Thomson too and were allocated a room at the Olympus side. Unfortunately, despite emailing to request a ground floor room, it was up 2 flights of steps with no lift and we had a very heavy double buggy (and 2 heavy baby boys!). We requested to move and were allocated another room at the Olympus side on the ground floor near the small pool which was perfect. I’m afraid I’m not sure how they allocate rooms but definitely agree the Olympus side is better if you don’t like it too hectic and rowdy
