Are there certain rooms or types of rooms that have larger windows or balconies with a lot of natural light so we can avoid a room with small windows or little or no daylight?
Dear Guest, Yes we do have rooms which are light & airy and also have private terraces.
We had a room that opened onto the terrace above the dining room. Lots of light and we could sit out on the terrace. Sometimes they have large bus groups that are entertained on the terrace which can make it a bit noisy.
We had a large suite in a tower,it included a small private courtyard.
You accessed it from the very large roof terrace covering that part of the Castle.
I have no memory as to the size of the windows however.
We stayed in a very large room which was on the ground floor near the swimming pool. I don't remember the room being dark at all. As all our party were on the ground level I can't comment on the upper floor rooms. We had AC in the room and apart from the bed being a little hard, it was very comfortable.
Its a beautiful heritage building with strategically designed doors and windows. All rooms are different but they all are large and airy. If you prefer a bit more of day light then ask for rooms on upper floors.
There are rooms upstairs that go out onto a balcony. My room and my friends room was so large and painted all white with a window in the bedroom and doors leading into a terrace walkway. We could see the whole garden from the walkway. I am very adverse to insufficient light but I felt the rooms were great. Enjoy.
