We stayed at the Red lion at Hinxston, its was a lovely quaint pub with excellent food and a really great room. Only 10 minutes from Duxford

I don’t know of any specific hotels sorry, but there would be plenty to chose from in Cambridge or at Stansted airport to suit all budgets. Both are only a short drive away. Hope this helps.

We were staying at a pub in Brandon where my son lives as it was a short 1 hour drive; more recently for the Battle of Britain show we caught a train so I can't say about more local hotels/inn's. It depends on what you want- simply a bed for the night or the whole hotel experience.

We were there for the Battle of Britain weekend so accommodation was tight. We stayed at the Old Red Lion at Horseheath. Pleasant en-suite rooms, continental breakfast is included but served too late to get to the air show before the roads are jammed. We asked for a breakfast box for day 2. Dinners very pleasantly served but not cheap.

If you are visiting Duxford on an ordinary day there is probably plenty of accommodation around Cambridge or villages closer than Horseheath.

I was only there for the day, came up from Kings Cross, but would recommend more time at Duxford than the 2.5 hrs I had.
