When asked whether you take pets, why do you answer "Yes, at times we take smaller pets" when in fact you do not? Please correct this misinformation. In addition, you leave your guests with absolutely no assistance in finding a nearby kennel. We are attending a wedding this summer, and and driving across the country with our small hypoallergenic dogs. Based on your answer I thought we would have been able to make arrangements for them. Thanks goodness I did not wait til the summer to find out you are not as good as your word.
Well, after being there this weekend and you were closed to the public (after even advertising in the August long weekend newspaper), can't even rent a kayak... and then, another friend did the FLY & DINE and they were TURNED AWAY and had to eat at Ruby Lake!!! And another friend who drove all the way up there for lunch one day only to be turned away as again, it was closed to the public... can you not put some signage up? Maybe put it on your website and/or answering machine? I saw numerous folks drive in and drive right back out this past weekend, getting turned away! There was a big sign at the driveway as well as one at the Skookumchuck... none said "CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC THIS WEEKEND".. If this is a recurring theme, I believe it should not be advertised as a public place, but a private venue, with occasional public access.. NO?
