I just went Mt Everest mountain flight with Yeti airlines on 14th Nov 2018 and the two amateur female pilots dare not fly closer to Mt Everest compared with Shree Airlines my friends took pictures on 12th Nov 2018....We paid USD185 and my friends paid only USD170 with Shree Airlines
Hi so I went to Nepal in 2013 (I was 12) to do the EBC trek, log story short I got a combo of HAPE and HACE at namchee... I’m now 18 and wanting to go back next year but I am worried I will get sick again... what is the possibility of getting sick again? I’ve been told that once I’ve had altitude sickness I will get it again 100% ..
While I understand that flights are weather dependent there are also periods where the flights are simpley overbooked and due to it being peak" season...... How can I avoid this overbooking which can be one or two days delay???? Is February of middle November still ok to hike to EBC but less numbers at the airport??
Hi, how crowded is this trek? I've heard it is very popular and do not want to just be walking in a line of people the entire time (other than with my group).
Travel insurance... I understand it's important to get travel insurance that includes helicopter rescues at high altitudes (up to 6,000m) for Everest Base Camp... Any recommendations on the best companies for this?
Note: I'm an Australian travelling purely for EBC. Thanks!
