Our problems started after they had us booked and before we left. We had trouble with the airfare that they booked for us. The kids did not get booked with their parents. Norwegian acknowledged that they made a mistake and didn't have our 3 reservations tied together. For 6-8 weeks they kept telling us that they were working on getting it corrected but a few days before the cruise they told us they weren't going to do anything about it. After escalating to a manager they offered to make the change for $600. They acknowledged that they made a mistake but they weren't willing to make it right. Then we contacted the airline directly and made the change ourselves for $360. Seemed like they were just trying to get another $600 out of us. We also bought the hotel package through them. I was told that it included breakfast and transfers. When we went to get breakfast, the Sheraton had no idea what I was talking about. I called Norwegian. After about 45 minutes on the phone they told me that even if their agent told me breakfast was included, they couldn't do that. I asked to speak to a supervisor and ask that they at least give me on-board credit. They eventually listened to the phone call where the agent told me breakfast was included and they gave me some on-board credit. We had a fun week but there were many frustrations with long lines, no seating available at the shows, and unavailable reservations required for meals and shows. There were a lot of unhappy guests on the ship and the staff did not seem happy. I have cruised many times and never experienced such a poorly managed cruise. I will not go with Norwegian again.…

How disappointing! Never book with the cruise line directly without a travel agent. Our experience started with a Norwegian Cruise Line consultant that talked a good game but ghosted us after the initial booking. Arrive on ship to find the usual formal restaurant bookings with set reservations was not available and YOYO (you're on your own) was the theme of the trip. Food quality was fair, not the GREAT MEALS and desserts we were expecting. Service was pretty good and the shows we could get into were very good. The Comedians were only booked into a very small venue and getting to see them turned out impossible. Our group of 17 was not given any kind of special spiffs because the original NCL consultant didn't stay in the loop. We've cruised several times on different ships but NCL won't be in the lineup for in the future.…

The room staff and food were excellent plenty of bars to choose from the liveliest one was under my room so went there to add to the noise the humidor was next to it which was a bonus the only bar i had to wait at was at sheehans but thats expected and wasnt ever too long a wait my only complaint was the gratuities which i always prefer to pay in cash myself and i thought the disembarkation was too long and dragged out other than that we will be cruising again…

Well I have relied on Trip Advisor for many years for worthwhile reviews to help with my travel plans. I am certainly glad I didn’t for this trip. After reading the latest reviews of this cruise, I think all these people must work for Royal Caribbean. From the start, departure on February 12, 2023 was effortless. Arrived at 10am & had completed everything in 15 minutes. Onboard ship before noon. Ate lunch at O’Sheeans with no wait. Cabin cleaned & ready with no problems. Our adult family of 4 (2cabins adjoining) then ate dinner at a main dining room withou a wait. Buffet was excellent & tables available sure lots of people especially for breakfast but no worries about food quality. Even the coffee was fine. I have no idea what that complaint was abou! Lines at some bars certainly but not excessive. Could have 2 drinks at once on our open bar package so that worked. Crowds at pools but just need to know system. Get chairs early with towels on them. Not removed. Bars & lounges plentiful with great entertainment. Especially Syd Norman’s where we had no problem getting in twice. You just have to know how it works. Cagney’s steak house & Japanese restaurant wonderful as was complimentary noodle bar. You need to know seating times! Shore excursions ok (4) but check those reviews before as some were better than others. That’s not on NCL. All the lines use these. Only complaint was temperature in cabin was difficult to control with goofy thermostat. Adult pools were for some reason 7 feet deep so most people sat around on or hung on sides if in the water. Staff great especially bar tenders & wait staff. All in all a great time & we would go again!!…

***Too many lines, waiting, people, and add-ons. ***Not enough staff, bartenders, chairs, pools, hot tubs, or elevators. ***Mediocre food/lots of congestion at buffet ***One food option after 9:30 PM—dine-in only, unless paying $10 room service fee. ***Poor coordination with third parties (ports, excursions, busses, & flights). ***Unhappy staff & customers because all of the above. The ship and cruise have so much to offer, but it was hard to enjoy it at times. If already booked, I recommend waking up early & staying up late to enjoy everything.…
