Just back from a great trip on this ship and it was amazing, service was excellent, food was well above par and the amenities were of a great level. Ship was extremely quiet which was a bonus. Cabin was a bit smaller than used to on a balcony room, however great layout and extremely stocked an impeccably clean at all times.

So we are on day 3 of this cruise from hell. We were looking forward to a great cruise with our family and I implore you to understand that if you are going on this ship you will be very disappointed. I have been on every major cruise line and well over 15 cruises. This is by far the worst line when it comes to caring at all about their customers. The first mishaps happened as we waited through 3 hours of lines to get on the ship only to get on the ship and realize that all of the free services that they advertise on their site were lies. So we waited for an additional hour in the customer service line staffed by two people for 100 people in line. We were told that the promotions we were promised don’t apply to us and that they would sort this out and get back to us. It is now day 3 and they have given us the run around every single day. Unfortunately to make up for the overcharge we will just have to pull the tips and then warn everyone on every single site to stay away from this ship from hell. They will villa and dime you for everything. They purposely make it hard to eat for free so be sure to understand that once you get on this ship that you will spend double your cruise fair in order to enjoy your trip. If you do t you will starve and be treated like a peasant. Their customer service people are so awful that I would not send my worst enemy in this dump of a cruise line. I have always been told that Norwegian is not a good line but this is the worst of the worst. If you have booked this and have the chance to cancel please do. They don’t deserve any good customers hard earned money.

So this is our second day on this ship. I warn you please please stay away from this cruise line at all costs and this ship in particular. If you have booked it already cancel right away. We have waited in lines now for two straight days. We were promised amenities like free drinks and internet and then told they were not on our account. We have been spoken to rudely. They charged us more than the whole cruise already and it is day 2 because we were supposed to include items they just didn’t include. They don’t give one care about their guests on this ship. There is a line of 30 people complaining today and yesterday there was 50. We waited a total of 3 hours today and 3 hours yesterday in lines. I pray that you are reading my review before coming on this ship because I will be saving you the worst trip of your entire life. We have been on 20 cruises and this is like staying at a motel 6 at sea except the people are much ruder. Every step you take they are trying to take your money. They purposely close their free restaurants early so that you have to pay to eat. I don’t mind paying a little but understand that everything promised

We're wrapping up our 7-day Mexican Rivera Cruise on the Norwegian Bliss (4-rating on TripAdvisor). We've done a similar route before, so we are familiar with the stops (Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Ensenada); no grand adventures this time, just r&r. All the passengers on the ship are vaccinated and have been tested for COVID, plus the overall number of passengers is at 60%. Masks are optional except when going off the ship into Mexico. A vacation from masks suits me fine! The best part of the trip was staying in the Haven for the first time. We did a last minute bid and got a great deal. We have a suite on the aft side of the ship; it's fantastic! After staying in the Haven, it will be hard to go back to our usual accommodations. Think bathtub with a view, large balcony with two extremely comfortable lounges, super comfortable bed, and access to the Haven areas (our favorite's the Horizon Lounge with a wall of windows at the front of the ship). As usual, all of the staff we interact with are the best! They all do a great job of hospitality and keeping everything very clean. All of our dining experiences have been great. Included in our package are such choices as Surf and Turf, Grilled Shrimp Skewers, Lamb Chops, and outrageously delicious Crab Cakes, just to name a few. All dishes are very high quality and cooked to perfection. The quality and selection of drinks are also great. One of the only issues we had on the trip was due to the tender boat to Cabo (Cabo's the only stop that you're not docked). Going into Cabo, our tender boat somehow left the ship without a ramp and our boat wandered around looking for another tender boat to supply one. The worst part was that no staff on our boat notified us of what the issue was, so everyone on the boat was confused and anxious by what was going on. Then, coming back, we somehow got on the same boat again, and the driver had a heck of a time positioning the boat so that the ramp could be connected to the ship (took forever). If we ever do this route again, we'll probably stay on the ship instead of going to Cabo for 4-hours. We're so happy to be able to cruise again!

Worst cruise we never got to take because when they canceled our cruise they decided not to give us our money back for 90 days. We finished paying for this in February and we’re supposed to leave on a cruise for Alaska today. We would have given them another chance if they had promptly returned our money but instead, our money is unavailable to us but they are able to use it. Worst customer service because when I try to call in I can’t even get anyone to speak to me about this!
